DIESEL ENGINE
GENERATOR SETS
Whether the injection nozzle of electric injection engine is easy to plug can not be generalized, it is affected by a variety of factors. From the working principle, the injector nozzle of the EFI diesel engine is the key component to inject the fuel into the cylinder in the form of high-pressure atomization, and its normal operation is very important for the performance and efficiency of the engine.
From the aspect of fuel quality, if the use of clean, in line with the standard of diesel, then the possibility of nozzle blockage is relatively low. The content of impurities, moisture and harmful substances such as sulfur in diesel oil is strictly controlled at low levels. When such diesel enters the injector, it does not carry excessive contaminants, reducing the risk of forming deposits inside the injector. However, in the actual situation, some gas stations may have uneven oil quality. If the diesel contains more impurities, moisture or sulfur content exceeds the standard, these harmful substances will enter the injection nozzle with the fuel. Impurities may gradually accumulate at the nozzle orifice, and moisture may react with some components of diesel to generate corrosive substances, causing damage to the internal structure of the nozzle, and then increasing the probability of blockage.
The operating conditions of the engine will also affect whether the injection nozzle is easy to jam. In the case of frequent start and stop, long idle time or high load operation, the working environment of the fuel injection nozzle will become worse. Frequent start and stop will make the fuel in the injector nozzle to form an unstable flow state, easy to lead to part of the fuel residue in the vicinity of the nozzle, after a long time of accumulation may form a blockage. When idle for a long time, the amount of fuel injection nozzle is relatively small, the effect of fuel atomization may not be good, and the fuel that is not fully atomized may condense around the nozzle and gradually form carbon deposition. At high load operation, the injector needs to bear higher pressure and temperature, which may accelerate the wear of the internal parts of the injector, so that the accuracy of the nozzle is affected, thereby increasing the possibility of blockage.
The quality and design of the nozzle itself also have an important impact on the blockage. Injectors with reliable quality and reasonable design usually have better anti-clog ability. Some advanced injectors use special materials and manufacturing processes to resist the erosion of impurities and carbon deposits to a certain extent. For example, the spray holes of some injector nozzles are designed with special shapes and sizes, so that the fuel can be atomized more evenly, reducing the residue of fuel at the spray hole and the formation of carbon deposits. In addition, the internal structure design of the fuel injection nozzle will also affect the flow characteristics of fuel, reasonable structure design can make the fuel more smoothly through the fuel injection nozzle, reducing the risk of blockage.
In order to reduce the possibility of blockage of the fuel injection nozzle, it is necessary to start from multiple aspects. First, make sure to use diesel that meets the standard, and replace the fuel filter regularly to filter out the impurities in the fuel. Secondly, it is necessary to avoid the engine being in a bad operating condition for a long time, and minimize the frequent start and stop and long idle time.
